Budtender

14er Boulder is seeking a Budtender! The primary responsibilities of this position are selling recreational cannabis in accordance with all local and state laws. We are looking for applicants with the desire to provide exceptional service while providing exceptional Cannabis. 

Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned as needed) 

  • Maintaining compliance with all local and state laws pertaining to the sale of recreational Cannabis 
  • Providing excellent customer service 
  • Completing sales of cannabis product and miscellaneous items using the POS system Performing daily opening tasks 
  • Checking in customers 
  • Taking pre-orders at the pre-order station, prepare them, and stock them on the appropriate shelf for pickup 
  • Stickering received product in compliance with store policy and all state regulatory laws Maintaining professional rapport with all customers 
  • Identifying fraudulent identification 
  • Identifying fraudulent currency 
  • Performing cleaning duties as assigned by management. 
  • Performing Basic math 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Valid MED Badge (please note if you do not have a MED badge your application will not be considered) 
  • Reliable transportation 
  • Available on Saturday and Sunday 
  • Ability to sell recreational Cannabis compliantly in accordance with all local and state laws and the ability to adapt to changing regulations 
  • Previous customer service background 
  • Basic math skills 
  • Basic phone knowledge 

Physical Requirements 

  • Must occasionally push, pull, and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds 

Schedule 

  • Full time 40 hours a week, Saturday-Tuesday, Days Off: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 

Compensation 

  • $14.60 an hour + tips, $200 Fraudulent ID bonus 
  • Eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance after 60 days 
  • Employee Discounts first day of employment 
  • PTO accrual on 61st day of employment, with accrual max 80 hours a year plus 8 hours of PTO hours added to employee balance annually on employee’s start date Badge renewal reimbursement after 90 days
